We recently attended the National Wedding Show at Olympia in London and had a great time showcasing our designs to lots of wonderful brides to be.

As the show was held in late September, we decided to chose a colour scheme for our wedding flowers which reflected the vibrant colours of Autumn and Winter, so we packed our display with lots of rich reds, oranges and gold. We complemented the look with antique brass candlesticks and soft candlelight, with opulent gold tableware and cutlery.

Our centrepieces featured red and deep pink roses, beautiful red and orange gloriosa lilies, winter fruits and berries and cascading red amaranthus.

When you're choosing your table centrepieces for your wedding, a good idea is to mix the heights of the arrangements to break up the space and to draw your eyes into the room.

TOP TIP : make sure that your arrangements are at the right height so that guests can easily talk to each other across the table - the last thing they want is to be unable to chat to each other because your beautiful flowers are in the way! So think of your guests and go low or high - definitely don't pick the middle ground!

As well as gorgeous tablecentres, we also created a fabulous 3D floral painting

- a real statement piece to greet your guests, or to use as a photo backdrop. It also looks great placed above a mantelpiece.

But the fabulousness didn't end there! As a final finishing touch to our display we created a magnificent floral train (and yes, it is easily detachable and VERY wearable!) with lots of gorgeous orchids, rose buds, berries (all real!) and gold beading, topped off with a matching floral parasol! Needless to say, they drew lots of attention from our brides! Distinctive and totally divine!!
